January. . .

Well, January is coming to a close. Hard to believe it has come and gone so fast.

Paul got a compound bow for Christmas. So as soon as we returned from Florida, we made a trip to Bass Pro Shop. We had to have the bow set for his arm length, pull weight, etc.

He also started baseball practice this month. Yes, I said baseball! They are at an indoor facility one night a week.

Timothy has been accepted to UT and MTSU! Now he just has to decide which one.

We went snow tubing at Ober Gatlinburg. That was a lot of fun. We had a group of 32!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to all! I am very hopeful for the year ahead.

We have an upcoming graduation and college enrollment ahead of us this year. Timothy is now on the on the downhill side of high school. It is amazing how fast time has gone. This will be his last baseball season as well. Where one chapter ends, a new one begins. . .

Paul has a busy baseball season on the horizon. He is also looking forward to another football season for CMS.

Last year brought on many health problems for me, so needless to say I am looking for a healthier new year! I also hope the year will be less stressful! For Tim too!

We brought in the new year in Sarasota, Florida. . . my favorite place!

Update

Football season ended. RCHS advanced to the first round of play offs in Polk County. It was a sad night. We are at a year of finales. . .

Timothy and Tyler after the game. . .

We made our away game trip. This year to Ole Miss. Great weather BAD game!

We stopped in Memphis to have Rendezvous famous ribs on the way out.

Paul took the first deer of the season. He got a 3 point. Sorry no picture, I have been sick.

I have had the flu, which became pneumonia! Fun!!! Now four weeks later, I am still coughing and have a cracked rib. Life after 40. . .

Timothy has applied to UT. Now we are waiting to hear if he is accepted. He really wants to go to UT. I keep telling him he needs to apply to other schools. We will see.

Now they are getting ready for Duck Season. It opens this weekend.

I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!
