How Time Flies. . .
Tonight was senior night at Legion Field. The baseball team recognized our seniors, Matt Laughery and Jeffery Smith. It is such a bitter sweet time! I watched as these two mothers fought back the tears while their boys played their last high school baseball game. It makes you stop and think how fast the time has gone and how fast my time approaches. Before I know it, my son will be playing his last home game. It is so important to enjoy the time you have with these kids. Even on the days when they are driving you nuts!!

Remember Hannah
Please continue to remember Hannah Lawson. She is doing well considering what she is going through. Here is an update from her website:
"Dr. Scaperoth thinks she's doing very well and she's now on the downhill slide! Only about 11 or 12 treatments left. We're still watching for headaches and nausea (signs that her brain is swelling and she needs steriods to control the swelling). She's complaining a little more often about headaches, so we'll have to discuss with the doctor today. "
She is such a strong little girl. . . we should all learn from her! Check out her site on www.caringbridge.org/visit/hannahlawson.

A Busy Season
We have been very busy. The boys are in baseball overdrive now. Timothy's season is now about half over.. The high school is now 4-8. Hopefully the season will end with more wins. Timothy has pitched a couple of games and has done pretty well. He also closed a game. So far they have traveled to Loudon, Rockwood, Catholic, Anderson County, Stone Memorial and Union City (west TN).
Paul is also playing ball. He is on a travel team. We play weekends with him. The weather has been very tempermental! We have had a lot of rain on the weekends, just in time for the tournament to start. We have been able to play twice now. We hope to play this coming weekend. Right now the extended forecast looks as if it may delay another tournament. Our first tournament was in Athens. The tornadoes won the tournament. We played last weekend in Athens with a revised schedule. We played 2 games on Sunday. We were 1-1 we drew a bye after the first game so we ended up playing the same team 2 times.
