SNOW DAY

We have snow! It has been a while. It snowed all day yesterday and we have had flurries today. Anyway, it was enough to get a day off from school. We have been out sledding. It has been a fun day!

Update

We are just back from Vanderbilt. It seems that his heart has gone back into rhythm. Thank goodness! After his difibulator alerted an abnormal rhythm, we were summoned to Vanderbilt. He had several episodes that were recorded and one lasted longer than 2 hours. Because of the type of episode, the doctor put him back on blood thinner. It seems that his problem was in the top area of the heart. This area is more prone to blood clots so they decided to put him back on the blood thinner. So today he had an ekg and lab work. We go back in six months and they will do an echo to see where we are.
Please pray for my dad. We are on our way to Vanderbilt for a check up. His difibulator has shown an episode that was pretty bad. It had to keep rythm for his heart. Worst case. . . they will have to shock his heart back to normal rythm.

Happy New Year

Just wishing everyone a Happy New Year. We just returned from an eight day duck hunting trip in Arkansas. We had a great time and it was a great way to bring in the new year. It is great to be able to spend time with my family.

And finally, me and Paul. This is my first time to shoot during a hunt. I had 3 teal come in and I took a double shot. It was exciting!!!
