New Year's Resolutions
Ok, I just wanted to say that I am still on target with my new year's resolution that I actually started in December. With age comes menopause, weight gain and exhaustion!!! So in December I decided to join the fitness center at RSCC. They have a great program and it is very reasonable. It is $25 a month. I think that is great. They do not require you to sign any contracts as do some of the other fitness centers.
Oh well, as I was saying. I am still working out! I try to go every morning before I go to work. I at least go 4 days a week. Last week, Timothy started a personal training session there. He goes twice a week for 10 weeks. The trainer works with him on baseball specific workouts. I think it will be a great benefit. My hope is that it will be an injury prevention plan. So two days a week I work out with Timothy.
My goal is to get rid of this 20 pounds I have put on since my body has decided to go on shut down!!! I hope everyone gets moving this year. It has helped a great deal with the exhaustion so far. I feel like I have more energy.

Looking Back and Moving Forward
Wow, I cannot believe how fast 2007 went!!! I do know that it was a busy year. Just a flash back at a few things that happend in our lives.
- We started the new year 07 in Tampa, Florida. We went to the Outback Bowl. Gee, we started this year the same way only we watched from Tennessee.
- I quit my job and now work full time for Bolden Excavating.
- Timothy played his first season as a high school pitcher. We were very proud. He took the mound as a freshman in a varsity game.
- Paul started playing competitive travel baseball this year.
- Paul hit his first homerun Mother's Day weekend during a tournament in Farragut. He later hit another home run in Cookeville.
- Timothy and Paul started playing golf. It quickly became a family thing.
- Timothy made the school golf team. He received his letter for golf.
- Timothy went to Teen Board with Carlye Cole. He wasn't too excited about the actual event. He did enjoy dressing up in a tux and going out to dinner.
- I took a photography class at UT. It was a lot of fun. We went to Carson Newman to make pictures of a football game. It was great!
- We remodeled our house. It has completely taken on a new look! We love our "new" house.
- Tim enjoyed several duck hunts. He traveled to North and South Dakota and to Arkansas.
- We got to watch a UT basketball game from the luxury suites!
- Timothy started driving!
We really had a busy year and this is only a very brief glimpse. . . But I am looking forward to 2008! Especially spring weather!!!!!!

A New Driver!!
Well, Timothy passed his driving test. We had an appointment for his driving test yesterday morning at 8:30. By 9:30, Timothy was legal to drive on his own. He was so excited. He had no marks against him. The driving instructor said he did perfect.
It is so hard to believe that he is driving now. I'm not sure where the past 16 years went?!

Sweet Sixteen
WOW!!!! I just can't believe it! Timothy turned 16 yesterday. It has gone by so fast. We have the car so now we have to get the license. He has an appointment Tuesday morning to take his driving test.
He had a small party. He really didn't want much. We first went to lunch at Wild Wings. We came back to the house and he had a few friends to watch the UT game. At half time we built a bond fire. He had more friends show up later. They just hung out. . . they played football, pool and roasted marshmallows.
