Well we are back in school! I cannot believe it!!!!!
Paul started the 7th grade at Cherokee Middle. So far, so good. Seems to like his classes and teachers. Not much homework so far. Not sure if that is good or bad? He is on the CMS football team. They played their first game on August 19. They won 40 - 0. Play our first home game this week against Wartburg.
Timothy is moved in at UT and has also started classes. I think things are going ok. He really isn't crazy about his Chemistry class (not sure who would be) but he is going to give it his best shot.
As for me and Tim, we are both still alive and kicking. Tim is staying pretty busy with work. I am back at Rockwood High School this school year.

Summer, where have you gone??????????
Seems as though summer has come and gone. And once again I haven't gotten anything done that I had hoped to do. Oh well, there is always tomorrow. It has been so busy and there is no end in sight.
Paul finally finished baseball and got one week off before football started. Isn't that terrible. He started baseball in January and ended in July. Anyway, he is now in football practice and is loving it. He did learn how to ski this summer. We are very excited about that.
Timothy has been working at Rockin L Rentals this summer. He has been spending his off time on the water as well, he now wakeboards. We are getting ready to make the college dorm run. He moves August 14. I think we are all very excited.

March
March brings baseball season. . .
Timothy's season began March 15. It has been a busy season up to this point. We are currently 5-5 in the season. Timothy has played really well up to this point. Good batting average for now and is pitching really well. He did have a great moment against Stone Memorial Mar 25. He hit his first HOME RUN!!!

Rounded third and headed home!!!!
Timothy was accepted to UT. He has also confirmed his acceptance and paid deposit for Fall 2010. How exciting!
Paul has also started baseball. Their first tournament was the March 27. They played 3 games and won all three. He was very excited that he got to pitch a little.

Tim had surgery this month. He had his tonsils out and also had deviated septum surgery. He was down for almost 2 weeks. He is doing fine now.
As for me, I started work at Rockwood High School. Only part time, but I like it. I really like getting off at 12 everyday.

February
Here. . . then gone. . .
What a busy month!
Paul started baseball practice in Knoxville one night a week. They practice indoors at the Diamond Sports Academy. He also got a new 4wheeler. And let me say, I wasn't very happy about that. And in the words of Forrest Gump "and that's all I have to say about that".
Paul and Tim went to Tremont Institute of the Smokeys for a week. YEAH!!!!! (Mom had a mini vacation) They had a great week. It is a school trip that is made each year by 6th graders.

Timothy also started baseball practice, on the days the weather allows. We had the football banquet since it was snowed out in January. It was a nice evening. He was awarded with the Boots Cook Award in addition to Academic Award, Captian Award and Senior plaque. He also got All District.

He too got a new toy. He got a dirt bike, again, no comment!
The first baseball scrimmage was at RSCC last week. It was soooo cold! They did good. He pitched one inning and did good. He and Alex both threw well!

Timothy's most exciting news of the month; he was accepted to UT and MTSU. We went for a campus tour to MTSU. He liked it, but I think Orange and White are in his future.
Just hoping for a warmer March!
Love to all!

January. . .
Well, January is coming to a close. Hard to believe it has come and gone so fast.

Paul got a compound bow for Christmas. So as soon as we returned from Florida, we made a trip to Bass Pro Shop. We had to have the bow set for his arm length, pull weight, etc.
He also started baseball practice this month. Yes, I said baseball! They are at an indoor facility one night a week.
Timothy has been accepted to UT and MTSU! Now he just has to decide which one.
We went snow tubing at Ober Gatlinburg. That was a lot of fun. We had a group of 32!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to all! I am very hopeful for the year ahead.
We have an upcoming graduation and college enrollment ahead of us this year. Timothy is now on the on the downhill side of high school. It is amazing how fast time has gone. This will be his last baseball season as well. Where one chapter ends, a new one begins. . .
Paul has a busy baseball season on the horizon. He is also looking forward to another football season for CMS.
Last year brought on many health problems for me, so needless to say I am looking for a healthier new year! I also hope the year will be less stressful! For Tim too!
We brought in the new year in Sarasota, Florida. . . my favorite place!
