Did Retta have her surgery yet? How did it go? I am so out of the loop.
Last wednesday. It went well. It was only in one breast and hadn't spread to the lymph nodes. She came home on Sunday and went back to the doctor on THursday. She is healing great and will hopefully have the drain tube removed next week. The pathology came back as stage 2. It is the most common form of breast cancer and is also the most treatable. She goes to the oncologist October 6. I will keep you posted.
