Thanksgiving

We did something totally different for Thanksgiving this year! And I must say we had the best time!

We went to Arkansas for Thanksgiving. My boys (Tim included) love to duck hunt. This year Tim got on a lease in Arkansas to hunt. So this year we met Tim and some of our friends in Arkansas to have Thanksgiving.

It was so nice. We stayed in a hunting lodge. Our cell service was bad and no one knew the number for the lodge. We just sat around and visited with each other and played games with the kids.

Paul shot his first green head (Mallard) and he also fell in the water, waders and all. Timothy got to call from the blind for the first time and was complimented on his ability.

We also went to the 72nd annual Wings over the Prairie festival. They have the duck calling championships, water dog demonstrations and everything else you could imagine. I am here to tell you that no one in Stuttgart, Arkansas was worried about the day after Thanksgiving sales. I have to say, it was awesome!!!

I am truly thankful for the Thanksgiving I had this year!!

I am so excited to be the first to comment on your blog. I love blogger so much more than myspace and was hoping some other people that I enjoy keeping up with would join in too! I'll add you to my list on my blog. Sounds like you all had a great time in Arkansas!

I just don't understand how you can prefer that to a traditional Bolden gathering. LOL!! Sounds good to me. I say do it again next year.
