Camera Woes, continued. . .

I had to buy film to shoot the baseball games for the weekend. It is soooo hard to go back. I guess I should be thankful that I have a backup. I have no idea what I am getting, it is frustrating. I have gotten so used to seeing every shot I take. Now it will just be a wait and see thing. I have got to find someone to look at my camera to see if it can be fixed. I called the company and they said it would cost $281 to evaluate the problem and fix it. If there were any additional charges, they would call first. Needless to say I told them I would have to think about it.

This has been a year of breakdowns for us. Tim had 3 dozers blow up, the transmission is out on the work truck, the washing machine, the diving board broke and now the camera. Oh and we can't forget the AC. Hopefully we have passed our "test" so that we can get back to normal.

Sorry to go on, I just needed to vent.

Camera Woes. . .

I am so upset! My camera crashed. I just bought a new battery to have a backup and thinking that the oringinal had just lost its punch. Not the case! Does anyone know where to have a camera checked out?

How Time Flies. . .

Tonight was senior night at Legion Field. The baseball team recognized our seniors, Matt Laughery and Jeffery Smith. It is such a bitter sweet time! I watched as these two mothers fought back the tears while their boys played their last high school baseball game. It makes you stop and think how fast the time has gone and how fast my time approaches. Before I know it, my son will be playing his last home game. It is so important to enjoy the time you have with these kids. Even on the days when they are driving you nuts!!

Home Run Derby

Paul's team played in a tournament in Alcoa two weeks ago. During the course of the tournament, they held a home run derby, base running and long throw competitions. Paul won the homerun derby with 6 out of 10.
