Can you believe it?! Timothy is 17!!! I just have no idea where 17 years have gone. It just seems like I blinked and he was not a baby anymore. . .

Arkansas Trip

We are back from our Thanksgiving trip to Arkansas. We had a great time. We ate Thanksgiving with the Mays in Otwell, Ar. We drove up to spend the day with their family. The boys did a lot of duck hunting while we were there. They were up at 4am every morning. We also went to the World Duck Calling Championship. I know it doesn't sound like much, but this was the 73rd year. ESPN was there to cover the Championship. Timothy spend the day Saturday working in the Echo Duck Call booth. He says he is now the "pro staff" for ECHO.

Buddy's Race Against Cancer

It was a cold, windy East TN day! But it didn't stop the thousands of people who got out to walk in the Buddy's Race Against Cancer. Retta's Crew for the Cure was one of many teams walking in the race. It was a great day. I just never realized how many people get out in support of the race.

Tim, Greg Lawson, Brad Moore & Mackie Gasque. Greg is the dad of Hannah Lawson. She is a brain cancer survivor. She is also the founder of Army Angels. She had a group of more than 100 walkers. Mackie and his family were walking in honor of his father in law who was just diagnosed last month. It was great to walk with friends all in support of a great cause.

Facing the Giants

Go Jackets!!!

Kingston advanced in the first round of playoffs last night. The Jackets beat Seymour Eagles 20-14 in Seymour. Kingston got on the board early and played ahead the entire game. At half time they were up 20-0. During the 3rd quarter, a couple of bad plays allowed the eagles to score two touchdowns. Despite the wind and rain, the Jackets move on to round two. They will face Austin-East next week.

Since my last post on the football season, Kingston finished the regular season. They played Fulton and Scott County prouducing wins. With a 7-1 record, Kingston faced undefeated Catholic on a rainy Friday. It was a big game. We led the game until the last minute. Catholic won 8-7. We then went to Austin-East for our last regular season game. It too was a big game. We played ahead the whole game only to get beat in the last minute. It was a great regular season. The season record was 7-3.

Update on Paul

Well, here is an update for Paul for the month of October.

He celebrated his 11th birthday with a group of friends. They spent the day playing football, eating pizza and cake.
